  • Sept 9, 16, 23 – How to Study the Bible Devotionally (Ebert)
“I don’t get anything out of my Bible reading,” say many Christians.Could it be that our reading of the Bible is too much of the mind, and not enough of the heart?This short series will train Bible students to approach God’s Word with both the head and the heart to discover the thrill of encountering God’s grace one-on-one with Him.
 
  • Sept 30, Oct 7, 14, 21, 28 – Divine Image, Human Vocation  (Gurgel)
You are a Glimpse of God!Coupled with a five-week sermon series on our Christian life, this study will take us deeper into the great rediscovery of the doctrine of our God-given vocations (callings) in life.
               
  • Nov 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9, 16, 23 – Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians (Scheuerlein)
For eight weeks we will explore this great letter to God’s people, covering such topics as God’s election of grace, conversion, the Church and its ministry, the spiritual life, and spiritual warfare.

  • Jan 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, Mar 3 - The Last Things:  What the Bible Says about the End (Treptow?)
Eschatology—the study of “last things”—is a fascinating and vital part of God’s revelation to his church on earth.  We will cover the topics of death, Christ’s glorious return and judgment, heaven and hell, and an overview of strange ideas people have adopted because of false understandings about the end.
 
  • Mar 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14 – A Gospel Harmony of Christ’s Passion (Scheuerlein)
Illustrated with pictures and experiences from the Holy Land, we will weave together the testimony of the four Gospels about the last days of Jesus’ redeeming work on earth.
 
  • April 28, May 5, 12, 18 – Contentedness According to Ecclesiastes  (Ebert)
“Meaningless, meaningless!” cries the Teacher (Ecclesiastes) about life in this material world.The secret to its meaning comes from living the contented life, as revealed by the Lord himself.
